Post professional racing, Claytons commitment to living a healthy and balanced lifestyle is evident in his disciplined approach to fitness. Sharing a belief that fitness is more than “physical’ outcome, Clayton shares in the belief of its transformative power to improve the mental and emotional wellbeing of the athletes he works with and embeds this within his approach to coaching.

Professional Athlete
Clayton Fettell is a former Australian professional triathlete. Turning pro in 2014, Clayton quickly made an impact in the sport winning his first Australian under-23 title in 2008 establishing himself as a premier long-distance triathlete, winning five Ironman 70.3 professional championships.
With over 100 professional starts, Clayton has multiple podium finishes across long course and short course racing. Clayton’s journey in triathlon is marked not only by his victories and podium finishes but also by his resilience and dedication to the sport. His achievements across various distances and formats in triathlon speak volumes about his versatility and professional approach to the sport.
Coaching
Clayton Fettell's coaching philosophy is centred in recognizing each athlete's uniqueness, tailoring training and guidance to the specific needs, strengths, and goals of each athlete. This personalised approach ensures that each athlete receives effective training whilst drawing on his breadth of experience of racing globally across a range of conditions.
As an elite swimmer with a deep understanding of swimming techniques and training methodologies, Clayton optimises the performance of his athletes in training and races through tailored programs that are responsive to individual athlete’s needs. With an emphasis on communication, Clayton prioritises the importance of feedback to ensure each athlete makes it to the start line healthy.
